Privacy.
Our public pages set no cookies and store nothing on your device, so there is nothing to accept. Here is what we do collect, and why.
Who we are
1706.ai is run by 1706 Studio Ltd in London. Write to hello@1706.ai about anything on this page.
Visiting the site
- Visit counts. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, does not follow you to other sites and does not tell us who you are.
- Hosting. Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host it handles your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
- Fonts. Our typefaces are served from this site, so no font service sees your visit.
When you get in touch
If you email us or use the form to start a conversation, we receive what you send: usually your name, email address, organisation, role and your note. The form replies by email through Resend, with a short first read drafted by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. We keep the conversation in our email and client records so we can reply and follow up.
The Attention Audit
Your answers, and the sentence you can add, are sent to Anthropic's Claude to write your reading. We do not keep them. If you choose to email your results to us, they are handled as a message.
Why we use it
We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working site and in replying to people who contact us. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
Where it goes
Vercel, Resend and Anthropic may process information in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the safeguards UK law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep messages while we are in conversation with you, and delete them once we no longer need them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to object to how we use it. Email hello@1706.ai. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Signed in areas
Private client areas of the site use a single cookie to keep you signed in. It is needed for the sign in to work and is not used for anything else.
